Roger is a relationship-driven entrepreneur with a keen eye for business innovation and a knack for strategic long-range planning. His extensive experience has led to significant increases in revenue and customer acquisition for client companies across industries including hospitality, automotive, real estate, and multi-location retail.
From his roots as a small business owner, Roger parlayed his enthusiasm for customer satisfaction into a high performing career with Booking.com; leading to his oversight of offices in Orlando and Miami, Florida. It was here that Roger grew his abilities in people-management and servant leadership, ultimately transitioning into a role with Marriott International.
During his tenure at Marriott International, Roger helped establish best practices for digital demand generation as a founding member of the eChannels – eCommerce team.
Through his work in this space, he later led the Franchise Portfolio Marketing team, managing field marketing activation for multi-location, key accounts.
As a leader and an innovator, Roger can be counted upon to deliver forthright & transparent communication in an effort to grow your business through robust strategic marketing activation and flawless tactical execution.
As an initial investor, Connor comes to Mapletree after spending six years in corporate automotive finance. Connor was a D1 Collegiate athlete at Gardner Webb University, where he graduated with a B.S. in Finance and Economics. Connor is a driven leader applying his financial experience and knowledge to Mapletree’s success by increasing organizational value and ROI. His values are based on his faith, hard work, and passion for serving others. Outside of work Connor enjoys traveling, golfing, boating, and spending time with his family.
Director of Creative Operations
Self-liberated banker. Lifeguard. Surfboard maker? Yes, that’s right! After 25 years in banking he reimagined his future and created a new reality. Mark is a true creative at his core, a nerd for design and structure, and entertains risk while playing it safe which serves him well as Director of Creative Operations. Mark is responsible for process and product development, day-to-day management of operations, and enriching team resources. In his free time Mark and his family play hard on the shore of West Michigan, he loves daily vigorous training at the aquatic center, and usually has a handful of ideas ready to be brought to life…including making more surfboards with his kids.
Director, IT & Communications
Tabitha has spent over ten years in the digital marketing industry. Starting with building HTML based websites in the early 2000’s, she has since built hundreds of WordPress websites for a variety of clientele. Certified with Google to manage their more popular tools, such as Analytics, Tabitha takes pride in working to assist all sizes of companies to perfect their strategies. She specializes in Google SEO, budget planning, AdWords, and overall digital marketing management.
What do joint nutraceuticals, Big Ass Fans, real estate, volleyball, axe-throwing, and bourbon have in common? Morgan has mastered them all (and then some) in the course of her sales and marketing journey. Since 2007 she has helped clients put their best digital footprints forward with operations and project management via SEO optimization, PPC ad implementation, email marketing, social media, content creation, copyediting, third-party vendor relationships – you name it! After obtaining her Masters degree in 2019, Morgan became managing partner of a small digital marketing agency. In her spare time she is a passionate epicurean, avid reader, loves to explore beautiful backroads and historic properties across Kentucky, listens to live music at every opportunity, serves two local nonprofits, and relishes every moment spent with her husband, daughter, and two sweet fur babies.
Sienna is a dog mom, travel nerd, and hospitality expert who does brand strategy, in that order. For over a decade She has influenced revenue growth and coached teams in an industry that is always evolving. Sienna knows future consumers convert based on the current customer experience, which is why she sets strategic directions that unite marketing, operations, and user experiences to increase market share. Outside of her home office, Sienna has visited all 7 continents and enjoys convincing her fiance that her new idea for a house project will be “easy”.
With more than 15 years of experience in the tourism industry, Kristin has done everything from lead beer tours in Prague during grad school to run a successful sustainable travel company in India. She spent six years working for Booking.com in New York and Hong Kong as well as three years working as an account manager for the New Zealand Convention Bureau. Through these roles, she gained valuable experience in various facets of the hotel industry and in digital marketing. Kristin has a degree in journalism from Ohio University and is also a skilled copywriter. She is endlessly fascinated by the world around her and during her free time, you can find her traveling around the world, talking to people about travel, or dreaming about travel.
Paid Media Analyst
Patrick is a recent graduate of Grand Valley State University with a major in Advertising and Public Relations and a minor in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Prior to his college life, Patrick actively participated and competed in the DECA program in the Hospitality and tourism category. During his time in DECA, he achieved 3rd in the State for his presentation mastery and competed in the DECA Nationals in Nashville, Tennessee. At Grand Valley, he developed a focused interest in SEO and data-driven advertising. During his undergraduate life, he worked on several case studies for businesses as wide-ranging as wedding salons, wolverine boots, and a museum. His entry into the professional work world is kick-started by his boundless energy and enthusiasm. Patrick is passionate and driven in communicating the value of a properly established marketing strategy.
Rachael is a highly analytical, result-oriented, and forward thinking professional who has a proven background in analytics, strategy, and business operations. She has a keen eye for details and is passionate about performing deep-dive analyses to identify emerging trends, pain points, and opportunity areas that influence decision making and business optimization.
With almost 10 years in events + marketing, Tabatha brings a broad range of marketing and hospitality experience to the team. From Walt Disney World to an international furniture manufacturer and most recently, a West Michigan based commercial construction firm, her experience ranges widely. She has a passion for design and a desire to help great brands get their message out. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling, and designing their new fixer upper.

Literary renegade. Wordsmith. Dad. Connoisseur of stories. David believes that clarity is a human right and works with brands to grow their business with well placed words. David is certified through the Storybrand and has served an array of clients from Global Private Aviation Corporations, Billionaire Caribbean real estate ventures, and Successful Startups. When he’s not writing or strategizing, he’s reading, savoring, wrestling with his 3 boys and exploring nature with his wife.
ANN VAN HEEST
Ann Van Heest’s career has followed the trajectory of the digital marketing industry, from setting up an organization’s very first digital platforms during the rollout of Facebook Pages to gaining years of experience on digital campaigns as a Project Manager for a digital marketing agency. She has experience in development and communications for both an international non-profit healthcare organization and a local organization serving people with disabilities. She also worked for her hometown destination marketing organization (and was featured in their billboard campaign!), poured cocktails in a local distillery, and gave tours in an authentic Dutch windmill. In her free time, find her spending time with her family on the shores of Lake Michigan.
Alessandra Barrios is a freelancer from Venezuela passionate about creating content. She has a degree in Broadcast Journalism and has been working online as a copywriter, marketing manager, social media manager, and video editor since 2019. She has traveled to many countries, which gives her the opportunity to have learned other languages such as English, Portuguese and French. She’s a dog lover with a weakness for travel, living new experiences, and helping others succeed.
